In summary:

Early Years Foundation Stage

In 2017 77% of children achieved a Good level of Development at the end on the Early Years Foundation Stage compared to 69% of children nationally (2016).

Phonics Screening Check (Year 1)

In 2017 84% of pupils in Y1 met the phonic check threshold compared to 81% nationally (2016).

Key Stage One (Year 2)

Reading

In 2017 86% of pupils were working at the new expected standard, compared to 74% nationally (2016) and 39% of pupils were working at greater depth, compared to 24% nationally (2016).

Writing

In 2017 75% of pupils were working at the new expected standard, compared to 66% nationally (2016) and 30% of pupils were working at greater depth, compared to 13% nationally (2016).

Mathematics

In 2017 89% of pupils were working at the new expected standard, compared to 72% nationally (2016) and 34% of pupils were working at greater depth, compared to 18% nationally (2016).

 

In 2017 73% of pupils were working at the expected standard in reading and writing and mathematics.

In 2017 27% of pupils were working at greater depth in reading and writing and mathematics.
